FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

All 7 days of the live training & 2 live consultations have to be attended to be certified in TRIP & to receive your certificate.

TRIP is best suited to therapists with a Masters degree in clinical counselling, psychology or social work (or related sciences) and have a minimum of 2-3 years experience working directly with clients. This approach is easier to learn when you have had training in attachment theory, parts work, emotion focused work or somatic therapy. However, all components will be taught during the training.

For all Advanced Modules, TRIP Core Foundational must have been completed.

Please note that this training includes the interactive practicing of this model in dyads/triads that involve you taking on the role of client, therapist, and observer. This will allow you to fully understand the model from all aspects and practice the integrative skill set. 

The online platform has preparation documents that explain what these practice rounds involve and how to best be ready for them.

Many of us have experienced trauma, attachment ruptures or distress ourselves. If you live with the impact of trauma while participating in this training, we strongly encourage you to be engaging in therapy for the duration of the training. You are welcome to contact a TRIP therapist (other than the facilitator) as a preferred option.

Once you have completed the online modules and the live training, you will receive a certificate of completion allowing you to practice with your clients after taking the Core Foundational Training. It is strongly encouraged for therapists to attend either individual or group supervision to receive consultation about best practices with this model.

The Core Foundational is an Online Live Training:

Live In Person Trainings:

The course cost is set in the main currency of USD. Please note that due to the often volatile exchange rate fluctuations between the US and Canada, the price between US and Canada markets may differ to keep the cost relevant and appropriate to the location of the training. 

We are not able to offer payment plans at this time due to administrative impact this has.
